Bill Ging is penning a new column published in the Oakland Press titled Supermarket Sommelier. Each week, he will taste 3 bottles of wine and share his observations and ratings.
His tastings will be after my own heart, making wine more accessible for the average wine consumer.
His first tasting focused on
- Chateau Cahantal 2007 Malbec
- Chateau Grand Traverse Select NV Semi Dry Riesling
I have to say that I wholeheartedly agree on his assessment of the Malbec, one of my favorite varietals.
