Although this book is a couple of years old, I just recently came across it and wanted to share it with you.From the Vine: Exploring Michigan Wineries, written by Sharon Kegerreis and Lorri Hathaway, is a tremendous guide to the wineries of Michigan. It features details, photos, and stories from all of the wineries in Michgan (at time of publication.)
It is organized by Wine Trails (Lake Michigan Shore, Leelanau, Old Mission, and Pioneer) and even has a section for those wineries beyond the trails. The photos are stunning and their journalism style makes you feel like you were there sipping Pinot Noir with the winemakers.
Sharon and Lorri continue to be involved promoting Michigan wines through their site MichiganVine.com.
