2 Lads Winery is releasing their 2008 Pinot Noir this Saturday. Starting at 11am, you can sample the wine and purchase it in their tasting room on Old Mission Peninsula.Here are the tasting notes from the winemaker:
The wine shows off complex aromatics of black cherry, strawberry candies, pan-seared beef, dark spices, cinnamon, clove and a creamy vanilla note. Much of the same follows into tasting with a silky and full mouthfeel accented by dark fruit, candied cherries, rose pedal and dark spices. Wonderfully integrated tannins provide beautiful structure for such a youthful wine.The wine will retail for $22 per bottle. If it is like the rest of their wines, you better buy it fast before it is all sold out.
I, personally, can't wait to try it.
