On Friday, August 14th, the Leelanau Peninsula Vintner's Association is sponsoring the Dog Days of Summer. This Second Friday's Event encourages wine lovers and their four legged companions to visit the wineries on the Leelanau Peninsula after working hours.The wineries will be open from 5pm til 8pm for the event.
5% of the sales for the evening will be donated to the Cherryland Humane Society. There will be treats for your dogs outside the winery and wine samples for you inside the winery!

I believe Black Star Farms is the only winery donating 5% of the sales to the Cherryland Humane Society.
